Non-count nouns cannot be counted. They usually express a group or a type. Listen to the examples below:

*Use measure words with non-count nouns.

For example:

Three bottles of milk.
Two cans of soda pop.
A pound of ground beef.

Measure words can also be used for count nouns.

For example:
